A defeated man looks into his bottle
And thinks back to his lost battle.
Days gone by, in the blink of an eye.
He sits there and wonders why.
As doubt starts to cloud his mind
There seems to be no sense of time
He's lost the girl that kept him true
And lost in what he is suppose to do.
The bottle is empty, the sun has set
And his life is not over yet.
