I have recently moved out of New Paltz, and quite frankly I'm glad. With no offense to my last roomate Grendel, the town was sucking the life out of me. True, I met some really cool people in New Paltz and took some interesting classes, but I lost so much of my world and it was a constent struggle to keep a grasp on it. Alot fell from my fingertips in the two years i've been living in the town. Still, it's a great place to visit.
Now I'm in a fabulous 5-bedroom in Rosendale, not far, with some NP buddies. Another existential writer who has some great and conflicting world views compared to my own, and two artist/gamer/what-not girls. I have a bright lit room with a computer desk set up in the corner. It's warm, it's clean and it's bright. I almost feel grown up living there. The walls aren't covered with Transformers and geek posters (well, except my room). but more common and varied images.
I'm without internet at the moment, but most my days are at the Library, working my last two weeks there. Starting end of next week I'm a Student Teacher. Finally.
I'm working on a unit for Hamlet right now, and straightening out the living space. And, I finally got aro8und to looking at my writing. Nothing new, yet, but I am editing and cleaning up spelling errors in my stories.
This weekend is goning to be a reading and writing weekend. I fell a bit of the muse returned and plan on finishing Camera Flash, a short story never posted here.
Also someone close to me has been reading MoZ, which I noticed had a few more favorites from people, thanks for that. Ignore the last chapter. I hate it. I'm planning on writing the actual ending I had originally planned, not that filler/ending crap thats there.
Those waiting for the next Robot Evolution, you're gonna have to wait a bit longer, sorry. I'll get back to that soon though.
Keep your eye's here too. I'm involved in two Podcast projects in the works, one for MoZ, one possibly for the school.
In the mean time chummers stay warm.
